Come, let us sing! Treble choirs will have lots of fun with this lively, unpredictable setting of the Hebrew from Psalm 95 which employs changing meters, interacting lines, and playful textures.
This piece has a memorable melody of the sort that we’ve come to expect from Steve Cohen, along with a dash of fun and rhythm. Best of all, it’s for two-part choir, and could easily be learned by a school or synagogue chorus.
Titles: 1) Ma tovu; 2) Enosh; 3)Halleluyaw. Arranged for small orchestra by Joshua Jacobson. For tenor solo, SATB, oboe, trumpet, and strings.
