Originally, prayer was meant to take us through the course of a day, expressing our needs, our gratitude, our fears and our awe. Bless Our Days follows the general outline of a day, from waking to sleeping, paralleling the traditional liturgy itself. These lovely arrangements, beginning in the morning with "Everyday," based on Psalm 145, and ending in the evening with "Shehechiyanu/A Blessing For Being," are meant to recapture a sense of living each day with blessings, and with an awareness of God.
