readers across the world. The Russian text is an exact translation of the
English language version, complete with introductory articles, essays, gleanings,
and all Haftarah texts and commentaries in Russian translation. The Russian edition
also includes a new Russian language translation of the Torah and Haftarah
portions, using a modern Russian idiom that helps the reader appreciate the
profound teachings of the ancient words of Torah. No book better represents for
