Shabbat Anthology Volume II is a wonderful collection of 33 Shabbat songs, sung by original artists (Joe Black, Steve Dropkin, Benjie Ellen Schiller, Mah Tovu, etc.) and well-known cantors, including Richard Botton, Erik L.F. Contzius, Jessica Epstein, Mark Opatow, Kari Siegel-Eglash and many more.

Stylistically, the music encompasses many of the traditions of Jewish music: from contemporary folk/rock (the folk content of Volume II focuses on the music of the Sephardic community) to grand liturgical settings of the 19th-20th century masters. Shabbat Anthology Volume II is an enjoyable, accessible journey into the colorful world of Shabbat music. Use it for listening or as a resource.
